We are currently unable to accept new clients or new in-home appointments at this time. We are currently offering limited services and are not providing any in-home visits at this time.
Since resuming services in June after the COVID-19 phase 1 closure, we have remained short staffed as our existing nurses were unable to return to providing foot care due to the Government of Ontario Restrictions. As they also worked in facilities, they were limited to one workplace due to COVID-19.
In addition, the sole-proprietor of Kirsten’s Foot Care, Kirsten Hansen, RPN, will be going on maternity leave and will be off work until Spring 2021 at the earliest.
As such, we are running limited services for the foreseeable future until Kirsten returns from maternity leave. We continue to offer our weekly foot clinic at the Olde Forge CRC in Nepean each Thursday. Appointments at the clinic can be made by contacting the Olde Forge CRC directly at 613-829-9777. In addition, we do have coverage for two of the retirement residences we provide care, Stittsville Villa and Chapel Hill Retirement Residence.
