Foot Care Nurse (RPN/RN) – Ottawa, Ottawa West/South

Advanced Foot Care Nurse (RPN/RN)
Foot care nurse to provide in-home visits and work community based clinics within the Ottawa area. Looking for someone that is available 3-4 days a week (Monday-Friday only) to cover home visits in the Ottawa community, including in Nepean, Kanata, Stittsville, Richmond, and Ottawa South.

Availability on Thursday’s for a weekly clinic also considered an asset.

START DATE: ASAP
Compensation: Per client

Requirements: 

  • Foot Care Certification (Advanced Foot Care Course)
  • Current Registration (in good standing) with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Professional Liability Insurance (RPNAO or equivalent of 2 million minimum)
  • Criminal Records Check (Vulnerable Sector) will be requested if chosen
  • Valid CPR
  • Drivers license with own transportation that is insured
  • Must have own instruments and supplies (including podiatry drill – no Dremel ) – Instruments such as nippers may be rented if nurse has not invested in their own
  • Experience in foot care clinics
  • Phone with data plan – schedules, care plans, charting and receipts are done through the Jane App
  • Time management – must be able to complete charting on time and able to travel to and from clients in a timely fashion
  • Willingness to travel and and work flexible hours
  • Communication skins, both verbal and written, in English

Foot Care Nurse (RPN/RN) – THURSDAY CLINIC

We are looking for an Advanced Foot Care Nurse to assist us at our busy weekly foot care clinic at a local community centre. Must be available on Thursdays (day of clinic). The Advanced Foot Care Nurse would be an independent contractor for Kirsten’s Foot Care.

Nurse is paid per client. Full clinic days (clinic runs 830am-330pm) – $45/hour.

Requirements:

  • Foot Care Certification (Advanced Foot Care Course)
  • Current Registration (in good standing) with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Professional Liability Insurance (RPNAO or equivalent of 2 million minimum)
  • Criminal Records Check (Vulnerable Sector) will be requested if chosen
  • Valid CPR
  • Must have own supplies and electric podiatry drill (no Dremel) – Instruments are provided by Kirsten’s Foot Care at this clinic. 
  • Experience in foot care clinics
  • Time management – must be able to complete care and charting on time and keep to a set appointment schedule.
  • Communication skins, both verbal and written, in English
  • Drivers license with own transportation that is insured

Foot Care Nurse (RPN/RN) – MATERNITY LEAVE Contract – Orleans/Ottawa East

Advanced Foot Care Nurse (RPN/RN)

Foot care nurse to provide in-home visits and work community based clinics within the Ottawa area. Looking for someone that is available 3-4 days a week (Monday-Friday only). Contract to cover home visits in the Orleans/Ottawa east community. Considered an asset if willing to work at a west end community centre and retirement residence contract to help with additional coverage.

Temporary contract, maternity leave coverage: 4-6 months
Start Date:
December 2020 (possibly sooner)
